how do you price tattoos?

During the booking process, I’ll give you a price range so you know what to expect on the day of your tattoo.

Please bring cash to your tattoo appointment!

My minimum for custom pieces is $125, and my flash is pre-priced. Check out my swirly tattoo page for more information about freehand swirly pieces and general cost estimates for those pieces.

For all tattoos, I require a $50 non-refundable deposit that will go towards the final cost of your tattoo. You can pay this deposit when scheduling via Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp. For projects over $500, I require a $100 deposit.

For custom pieces, I’ll send you the design a day or so before your appointment. I’ll do two rounds of edits for free, and then each additional round will cost $25 to compensate the extra time I spend drawing. A full redraw right off the bat will cost $50.

how do I book a tattoo appointment with you?

My books typically open once a month for the following month. (But I’m also happy to schedule appointments farther out than a month when my books are open.)

You can click on the booking link at the top of my website to find out if they’re currently open or when they’ll be open next, or follow my Instagram for up-to-date info.

When my books are open, please fill out my booking form to book a tattoo appointment. I don’t accept Instagram DMs or emails to book.

After you submit the form, I’ll reach out via email to get you scheduled. Please keep an eye on your inbox!

what if I need to reschedule my appointment?

If you need to reschedule within 48 hours, there will be a $25 rescheduling fee. This is nonrefundable and will not go towards the final cost of your tattoo.

If you’re feeling sick, pretty please do not come in! Rescheduling due to sickness or inclement weather won’t result in a rescheduling fee.

If you’re not able to make your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible! No call, no shows make me so sad and will result in a forfeited deposit.

how should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

Please come hydrated and eat a meal before your tattoo! Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and sun exposure in the days leading up to your appointment.

Wear comfy clothes – I always recommend black if possible to avoid potential ink stains.

Bring water, snacks, and something to entertain yourself. You can also bring a friend for moral support – please only one friend, though!

For extra credit, moisturize and exfoliate the area you’re getting tattooed for about a week before your appointment.

how should I take care of my tattoo while it’s healing?

Aftercare is super important to keep your tattoo looking good forever! The better you take care of your tattoo, the better it will look.

If we used second skin on your new tattoo, you can leave it on for 4-5 days.** Remove the second skin while in the shower. Make sure to remove it very gently, and pull it like you would a command strip. If we wrapped your tattoo with saran wrap, leave it on for a few hours.

Once you remove the bandage (second skin or saran wrap), wash your tattoo with an unscented soap and a clean hand, and pat it dry with a clean paper towel (or let it air dry). Use a thin layer of unscented moisturizer – you want the tattoo to be able to breathe!

For the first week or two, wash and moisturize twice a day (with unscented products). After that, you can move to once a day.

Don’t pick at or itch your new tattoo! Avoid sun exposure, heavy exercise/excessive sweating, and soaking in water until your tattoo is fully healed (2-4 weeks).

** If your tattoo had a lot of black packing, I might send you home with another piece of second skin. Leave the first piece on for 24 hours, unless the ink starts to leak out of the second skin – then take it off immediately. Wash your tattoo with unscented soap, water, and a clean hand. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Do not use lotion or the new piece of second skin won’t stick! Once dry, apply the new piece of second skin and leave it on for an additional 3-4 days.

do you offer free touch-ups?

Touch-ups are always free and highly encouraged!

They allow me to see how my work is healing and make sure your tattoo looks as good as possible.

If you would like a touch-up, please email or DM me and we’ll get it booked! No need to wait until my books are open.

I’m still learning, and I’d always rather not go deep enough (which can result in fading) than too deep (which can result in a blowout).

can I send you healed pictures of my tattoo?

I would love to see healed pictures of your tattoo! You can email or DM me healed pictures any time.

If you really want to go above and beyond, grab a friend, wipe off your phone’s camera lens, and take the picture outside in the shade with a neutral background.

Take a look at the healed tattoos in my portfolio for some examples!

what if I have a question that’s not answered here?

Please send me an email if you have a question, especially leading up to your tattoo appointment.

You can find all my contact info on the contact page of my website.
